Project Overview

A local identity designed to inspire pride and attract investment.

County District was a branding project within a £1 million regeneration scheme for Liverpool City Region. The aim was to give one of Liverpool's well-known, independently led business areas its own identity, celebrating the character of the area while helping attract future investment. I developed the logo, secondary marks and colour palette, drawing inspiration from the local architecture and the pride people have in where they live and work.

As part of a £1 million regeneration scheme on behalf of Liverpool City Region, County District needed an identity that would give the area a stronger sense of recognition and help support its future development.

The area has a strong independent business community and a real sense of local pride. I wanted the identity to reflect that connection, creating a logo that felt less like a corporate mark and more like a badge of honour — something local businesses and the community could identify with and feel proud to represent.

I developed the primary logo and secondary marks, with a colour palette inspired by the area's buildings and surroundings. The aim was to create a distinctive, flexible identity that reflected the character of County District while giving the regeneration project a recognisable visual presence.
